Seminarian to be Ordained Transitional Deacon

Last step before being ordained a priest for the Diocese of New Ulm

NEW ULM – Brent G. Sundve, a seminarian of the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm, will be ordained to the transitional diaconate in May, marking a significant milestone on his journey to the priesthood, tentatively set for 2027. 

Sundve is currently studying at The Saint Paul Seminary in St. Paul. He will be ordained to the transitional diaconate by Bishop Chad W. Zielinski, bishop of New Ulm, on Saturday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, Minn. The public is welcome to attend.
