The Office of Worship oversees ecumenical relations between the Roman-Catholic Diocese of New Ulm and the other ecclesial communities within our geographical area. Primary among these efforts is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which typically runs from January 18th to January 25th. The Sunday falling within the range of these days (or closest to it) is designated Ecumenical Sunday, and on this day an Ecumenical Prayer Service for Christian Unity is held within the geographical bounds of our diocese, either at a Catholic church or the church of another ecclesial community.
