In the wake of recent violence within a number of communities in the United States, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz, President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops called for a National Day of Prayer on September 9th, the feast of St. Peter Claver. Bishop LeVoir has encouraged all in the Diocese of New Ulm to join in this nation wide prayer for peace. At the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the Divine Mercy chaplet will be prayed at 7:00 pm, followed by Holy Mass celebrated for this intention at 7:15 pm.
