Prayer Service for Life & MCCL March for Life

Youth and adults from across the Diocese joined Bishop Chad Zielinski on the Minnesota State Capitol steps after the Prayer Service for Life on January 22, 2025. They were part of thousands who gathered to march in recognition of the 52nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Bishop Chad Zielinski of the Diocese of New Ulm will lead the prayer service.
*Reserved seating is available for all diocesan youth attending. Contact Sr. Candace Fier at cfier@dnu.org or 507-233-5328 to reserve a spot.
Following the prayer service, all are welcome to march from the Cathedral of St. Paul to the Minnesota State Capitol.

Diocesan Bus Routes & Information
Marshall Area
The bus will leave from Holy Redeemer in Marshall at 6:30 a.m. and will make additional stops at:
St. Catherine in Redwood Falls at 7:15 a.m.
St. Aloysius in Olivia at 7:45 a.m.
St. Pius X in Glencoe at 8:30 a.m.
The bus is sponsored by area Council of Catholic Women & Knights of Columbus and is free to ride. To reserve a spot on the bus, contact Lori Timmerman at (507) 476-0070. Please dress warm and bring a sack lunch along.
Holy Cross AFC
There will be a Mass for Life at 7 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.
The bus will load at 7:45 a.m.
The bus will return at 3 p.m.
Bring lunch and warm clothes. The trip requires a 1/2 mile walk to the capital from the Cathedral of St. Paul to the Minnesota State Capitol.

Our Living Water AFC & Shepherd of Souls AFC
The KC Councils and 4th Degree Assemblies in our area will again be sponsoring a bus for the March for Life. Those who would like to ride the bus should contact Tony Lorber at (320) 248-6863.
