Discipleship Day 2019
People make strong and lasting first impressions, especially when they interact with the Catholic Church. It's hugely important that we are welcoming, friendly, and real with people when they enter into our parishes whether visiting for Sunday Mass, Baptism classes, or religious education.
This year's Discipleship Day theme is "Entertaining Angels - Hospitality Training" and will once again feature St. Paul Evangelization Institute. Denise Hirl and Adam Janke will give valuable insight and training for anyone who works for a parish or is involved in anyway with the Catholic Church. Bring your whole staff and volunteers to this superb presentation on true Catholic hospitality!
The day begins at 8:30am with Holy Mass with Bishop John M. LeVoir at St. Aloysius in Olivia on September 28. There are three presentations, which will end at 2:00pm. Cost is $20/person, lunch included.

If you've never been on a TEC or it's been a while since you have, maybe it's time to make one! They've made some great improvements and hope to inspire more and more people to "encounter and integrate the life of Jesus into their daily lives."
The next Riverbend TEC will be January 18-20 at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (New Ulm).
Make sure your catechists, youth ministry volunteers, new staff, and anyone working with or around youth are trained in safe environment. Go HERE for a list of upcoming training sessions.
