Cathedral Pipe Organ Project

The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is awaiting its new organ, estimated to be completed this year.  The Organ will consist of 60 speaking stops, 49 ranks and 2,588 pipes.

J.F.Nordlie Company of Sioux Falls, SD is currently completing the organ in their shop.  64 of the largest pipes are now installed in the Cathedral, as well as the three-manual moveable console, massive blower, and state-of-the-art humidification system.

Approximately 1,600 pipes are refurbished from the 1981Jaeckel instrument, including the German reeds.  Nordlie is adding about 1,000 pipes, consisting of 7 stops, 15 ranks.  Among these new sounds are a mounted Cornett V, new Swell Mixtures, Principals, softer strings, as well as a beautiful Traversflöte.
