Official appointments made to diocesan staff

 

The Most Reverend John C. Nienstedt, Bishop of New Ulm, announces new appointments to the diocesan staff.

 

Effective July1, 2006

 

Bryan Reising to serve as full-time Director of Religious Education and Adult Faith Formation. His responsibilities include leadership and support for parish and area religious education and the development of adult faith formation programs. Bryan grew up on a farm in central Illinois and is happy to return to a Midwest rural setting. He attended St. Francis Seminary High School in Cincinnati and received a BA degree in Religious Education from Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois. For graduate studies, Bryan attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Masters degree in Theology. His work experience includes parish ministry as a Director of Religious Education in Illinois and twelve years on the diocesan staff for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia. He is bi-lingual in English and Spanish which will greatly benefit his ministry in the diocese. Bryan and his wife, Linda, have three children - Andrew 16, Monica Clare 13, and Maria 10. The Reising family moved to New Ulm in mid-August.

 

Effective September 1, 2006

Ann Przybilla to serve as Director of Lay Ministry Formation in addition to her position as Director of Worship. Her new responsibilities will include the coordination of the Together in Communion program and preparation for future formation programs. For the past year, Przybilla served as the interim Director of Religious Education.
