continues to ensure “safe environments”
The United States Conference
of Catholic Bishops' Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People,
(Article 12), requires that dioceses/eparchies establish "safe
environment" programs. In accord with this requirement, the diocese held
two mandatory safe environment training opportunities for pastoral leaders and
parish safe environment coordinators: August 16 in New Ulm and August 23 in
