Pastoral
leaders take part in annual mandatory training
This year's mandatory safe
environment training for pastoral leaders of the Diocese of New Ulm was held
last month in two locations within the diocese: August 17 at the Cathedral
of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm and August 24 at the Church of the St. Joseph in Montevideo.
At
each location, Fr. Douglas Grams, Vicar General for the Diocese of New Ulm
and the Bishop's Delegate
in Matters Pertaining to Sexual Misconduct, distributed this year's training
video entitled "Why Sexual Abuse is a Theological Issue and Why This
Matters" featuring Dr. Bill Cahoy of St. John's University.
