Another school year begins!

New Ulm diocese welcomes new principals

Catholic school principals new to the diocese gathered at the Diocesan Pastoral Center on August 23 to meet with diocesan Director of Schools, Wayne Pelzel. Following a warm welcome, Pelzel reviewed diocesan policies and procedures and examined the vision and philosophy of the diocesan Catholic schools. New principals are: Betty Abrahamson, St. Edwards, Minneota; Ann LaCourse, St. Raphael’s, Springfield; Kelly Berg, St. Michael’s Morgan, and Mary Gangelhoff, St. Mary’s, Sleepy Eye.
