Sr. Idamarie Primus celebrates 60 years of religious
vocation
Sr. Idamarie
Primus celebrated 60 years of religious vocation on April 24, 2004. Bishop John F. Kinney of the Diocese of St. Cloud, MN
presided at the Mass, which was held at Sacred Heart Chapel, Saint Benedict's
Monastery in St.
Joseph, MN. Sister made her profession of vows in 1944 at Saint
Benedict’s Monastery. Sr. Idamarie taught in
elementary and high schools and was a principal at Saint Benedict's High
School, Cathedral High
School, and
John XXIII in St.
Cloud. On July 16, 1990, she went to St. Boniface, Stewart as a parish
worker. On July 1, 1991 she was appointed a pastoral administrator by Bishop Raymond A. Lucker
where she served until June, 2002 when she moved to St. Anastasia in Hutchinson. She currently serves as the director of a social
concerns program at St. Anastasia.
