Distinguished Service Award

2006 nominations being accepted

 

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2006 New Ulm Diocesan Distinguished Service Award (DDSA). The award is presented to members of the diocese in recognition for outstanding service to the Diocese of New Ulm over a period of years. 

 

Up to five awards will be presented  by Bishop John C. Nienstedt at the Bishop Lucker Lecture on Thursday, March 2, 2006. 

 

Criteria nomination:

-  Outstanding service exercised in some leadership capacity such as

service on a diocesan council or committee, in a diocesan organization,

or as a member of the Diocesan Center staff

 

 

-  The diocesan service has been performed over a number

of years

 

-  The person has served as a living witness to the Diocesan

Mission Statement

 

-  The person has nurtured leadership and encouraged growth among the members of the diocesan community
