Knights Fall Exemplification in Willmar

Bishop John C. Nienstedt to be class honoree

Recruitment efforts by all Knights of Columbus assemblies are in full swing for the Fall Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Exemplification to be held at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Willmar on October 30. The Fourth Degree is the highest degree attainable and one of honor for the Knights of Columbus. The first three degrees are charity, unity, and fraternity. The Fourth Degree teaches the lesson of patriotism.

All assemblies throughout the state are invited to participate and recruit for this degree, but the assemblies in the New Ulm diocese are especially encouraged to recruit members to join Bishop Nienstedt in this degree class. Bishop joined the Knights of Columbus just after his ordination as a priest in 1974.
