10th Annual Jr. High Festival

Grades 7-8

1:00-7:00

Canby Public High School, Canby, MN

On Sunday, November 12, 1:00-7:00 p.m., hundreds of junior high youth grades 7-8, will again gather for the annual diocesan Junior High Festival to be held at Canby Public High School, Canby, MN.

Thousands of youth have participated in these faith-filled events for the past ten years. This is a time to meet many other youth and enjoy good food, music, a keynote speaker, and share in the Mass.

Jessie Manibusan, a nationally known speaker, will be the featured presenter. Jessie was the M.C. for the National Catholic Youth Conference in St. Louis last year. He also spoke at the Junior High Festival several years ago. It was one of the best Festivals ever.

His music touches the hearts and lives of many people across America. He works with people of all ages and has a particular love for the young people in the Catholic Church. He will challenge young people to think about being Catholic and how they express their values today. He will close the day with a great energizing concert.

The theme for this year’s Festival is Spread the Faith and Make It Stick. This event will renew the faith lives of all of the participants. All 7-8th grade youth need to register for this event in their parish with the Youth Minister or Director of Religious Education.
