Taunton community donates to Hurricane Relief

A “hurricane relief supper” initiated by the Church of SS. Cyril and Methodius in Taunton was held on September 26, at the Taunton Senior Center for anyone who chose to attend. Money raised from the supper amounted to $1,175 with an additional $308 collected at church. One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to hurricane victims. Assisting in coordination of the fundraiser are Tom and Madeline Swedzinski and Marian and Duane Sarbaum.
