A “hand” in God’s work

Students at St. Anne’s School in Wabasso recently participated in making an altar cloth. After some careful measuring, each student and teacher traced and colored on paper their hand with fabric crayons which was then placed and ironed onto the new cloth.  The fifth grade class then did some touch-up work to make the colors more vibrant and to outline all of the hands with markers.  Next came ironing and with some spray starch, the new “God’s Handiwork” cloth is now being used at the student weekly Mass celebration.  It serves as a reminder that we all have a “hand” in God’s work.
