Advent Prayer Services - a preparation for Jesus’ birth

As Advent approaches, once again the faithful of the New Ulm diocese will have an opportunity to attend an Advent Prayer Service with Bishop John C. Nienstedt presiding.

On December 7, 2003, there will be two Services: one at 2:30 p.m. at St. Anastasia, Hutchinson and again at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary, Willmar.

Families, especially children, are encouraged to bring along the baby Jesus figure from their home nativity set to be blessed by Bishop Nienstedt. There will also be a blessing on families as they prepare for Jesus’birth. A swaddling clothes collection (blankets, sleepers, etc.) will be taken for babies in need.
