Fallon, Nohner elected to prominent positions
Sister Ramona Fallon, OSB was
elected as the ninth prioress of Mother of God Monastery, Watertown, SD. She will be officially installed as prioress Sunday,
June 12. Sister Ramona, a native of Redfield, SD is currently serving as pastoral assistant at the Church of St Peter, St. Peter, MN. Her responsibilities include principal of John Ireland School, social concerns and staff coordinator. She has a
long history of administration, including Director of Schools for the Diocese
of New UIm and Education Director for Minnesota
Catholic Conference. She also served her community as personnel director,
assistant prioress and executive director of the Benedictine Sisters
Foundation. She will be moving to Watertown, SD at the end of May.
Sister Sharon Nohner, OSB has been appointed Sub Prioress of the
Benedictine Sisters in St.
Joseph, MN. Besides serving as Pastoral Administrator of St.
Paul Church in Comfrey, She is a member of the Diocesan Finance Council as well
as the committee to evaluate the Pastoral Center. Sister will be leaving May 31.
