Willmar site of National CCW Province Conference

The National Council of Catholic Women St. Paul and Minnea-polis Province is hosting a conference at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Willmar, MN on June 21-22, 2004. "Lead Me Lord" is the theme for the conference. All Catholic women are cordially invited to attend this educational and spiritual event.

The Most Reverend John C. Nienstedt will be the main celebrant at the opening liturgy. Fr. Gene Lozinski, New Ulm Diocesan Council of Catholic Women moderator, will be the main celebrant at the closing liturgy. The Most Reverend Richard Pates, St Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese Auxiliary Bishop, will speak on evangelization, Tuesday, June 22. His talk is entitled: Evangelization: The Work of the Entire Church Community.

The conference also includes speakers addressing Media and Family; Eucharist: One Body, One Spirit; How the Catholic Campaign for Human Development Works in our Community; Mission of the Heart; Council Women Sharing Wisdom; Promotion and Possible Speakers; Workbasket; and a panel of Minnesota legislators moderated by the Minnesota Catholic Conference director. Six share shops and a special banquet will conclude this important conference. The St. Paul and Minneapolis Province includes the dioceses of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Province conferences are held every two years to educate, bring fellowship, and develop programs for all Catholic women and their pastors.
