The Initiation Experience: Beginnings and Beyond

The Initiation Experience: Beginnings and Beyond Institute will be held at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church, 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen on June 9-14. This institute will present the compelling vision and pastoral skills to implement the initiation process and emphasize the relationship of good liturgy to good catechesis.

Co-sponsored with the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and the North American Forum on the Catechumenate, the institute will:

present the vision of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults;
provide experience of the flow, steps, and periods of the Rite;
teach the skills necessary for local implementation;
invite reflection, faith sharing, and liturgical celebration;
deepen understanding of the conversion journey; and consider adaptation and principles regarding children and/or youth.

The institute leaders are among North America’s most experienced pastoral ministers, liturgists, catechists, and theologians.
