Workshop to examine leadership in the local parish

 

Marshall, MN - Noted speaker, motivator, and teacher, Tom Thibodeau will be presenting a workshop at Holy Redeemer Church, 503 West Lyon Street, Marshall, MN, on March 9, 2007.  The workshop’s topic will be servant leadership. Registration and coffee will begin at 8:30 a.m. The day will end at 3:00 p.m. The workshop is open to church personnel involved in leadership within a parish community.

 

Thibadeau’s presentation will include:

1. Examination of the power of our words and presence and the sacramental nature of our baptismal call to integrate the Eucharist into our daily activity.

 

2. Definition of servant leadership and the key characteristics of a servant leader.

 

3. Means by which we can identify and understand personal gifts and skills we all bring to service and leadership.

 

All parish lay leadership in the Diocese of New Ulm is invited to experience Thibodeau’s clever sense of humor as he inspires and challenges his audience to examine their leadership in the local parish.
