Bible Camp set for July
A Family Bible Camp for the
Diocese of New Ulm will be held July 13-15, 2007, at Lake Koronis
Assembly Grounds, Paynesville, MN. “This year there will be duo keynote
speakers,” announced Jan Crowe, diocesan liaison for Charismatic Renewal. Megan
McGraw of Hutchinson, a spinal cord injury survivor, will share her story of
faith. Patti Cogley of Hutchinson, a teacher,
musician, and storyteller will share her gifted musical talents together with
insightful prison ministry experience.
Camp opens with a potluck
supper on Friday night. Confessions will be heard and Mass will be celebrated
by Msgr. Francis Garvey on Saturday morning followed by Eucharistic Adoration
which will close prior to the Sunday morning Mass, celebrated by Fr. John
Pearson. There will also be youth ministry, children’s ministry, and
babysitting for the young. Free time offers opportunities for swimming, water
sports, and hiking. A potluck Sunday noon lunch will bring closure to the camp.
