Service,
fellowship, faith and fun!
The Church of the Sacred
Heart Youth Group from Murdock traveled to
Minneapolis to rake lawns for the elderly and infirmed
as part of their mission of service, fellowship and faith.
The group of 37 raked 24
lawns on April 30 around the Minnehaha Falls area.
This is the second year of doing this and the Sacred Heart Youth Group members
love this chance to interact with and help those who are unable to do these
tasks on their own. They also enjoyed the opportunity to go to the Twin Cities
and, of course, take time out to watch a Twins game. After the youth completed
their yard work, they headed to the Metrodome where
they cheered for their favorite players.
It was a great day filled with service, fellowship, faith and fun!
