Rev.
Pat Casey to celebrate 40th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood
Fr. Pat Casey, pastor of St.
John in Darwin and parochial administrator at St. Gertrude, Forest City, will
celebrate his 40th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood on Sunday, June
26, 2005 at the St. John’s Education Center (north side of US Hwy 12 between Dassel and Cokato, MN). There will be a 10:30 a.m. parish Mass and an
Open House from 1:30-5:00 p.m. both to be held at the St. John’s Education
Center. The Litchfield Area Male Chorus will sing at
2 :00 p.m. and the Woodbury Chorale and Bell Ringers
will perform at 4:00 pm. Everybody is welcome.
Fr. Casey was ordained a
priest on March 13, 1965, by Bishop Alphonse J. Schladweiler.
Throughout his ministry he served in the parish communities of St. Peter, St. Peter; Holy Redeemer, Marshall; St. Mary, Sleepy Eye; St. Catherine, Redwood Falls; Holy Rosary, North Mankato; SS Cyril and Methodius, Taunton; St. Anne, Wabasso; St. Mathias, Wanda; St. Joseph, Montevideo; St. Isidore, Clarkfield; St. Aloysius, Olivia; Holy Redeemer, Renville; St. Anastasia, Hutchinson; St. John, Darwin; St. Gertrude, Forest City.
