A superior performance!

On March 10, 2004, Cathedral High School hosted the Band and Choir Large Group Music Contest for Section 2A of the Minnesota State High School League. The eight participating area schools were New Ulm Cathedral High School, Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s, Mankato Loyola, GFW, Sleepy Eye Public, New Ulm Minnesota Valley Lutheran, McCloud West, and Comfrey.

Three judges for bands and three judges for choirs rated each performing group with a "Superior"(highest), or "Excellent" (second highest), or "Good" (third highest) according to performance results. The New Ulm Cathedral Band and Choir both received a "Superior" at this contest.
