Seminarian receives scholarship from MN Knights

On April 3, Craig Larson, public relations chairman of the Minnesota Knights of Columbus from Crookston, presented a scholarship check to Paul Karels, a seminarian of the Diocese of New Ulm and one of three graduates of Cardinal Muench Seminary in Fargo, ND. He is the son of David and Rita Karels of Bellingham, MN, and a parishioner of St. Joseph, Rosen, MN. Paul graduated with a major in Philosophy and was awarded the Bishop Driscoll Medal for leadership in the community. He plans to attend a theologate in the fall for continued studies toward the priesthood.
