Daughters of Isabella hold State Conference
Litchfield - The Minnesota Daughters of Isabella held their seventh State Conference on April 16-17, 2004 in Litchfield, MN with Marion Circle #931 hosting the event.
A memorial Mass was held at the Church of St. Philip with Father John Miller, State Chaplain being the celebrant and Father Mark Mallak co-celebrant. A banquet was held in the basement of St. Philips Church following.
State Regent Mary Kunstleben presented the Minnesota Outstanding Daughter of Isabella Award for 2004 to Annella Schmidt, Regent of Queen of Sorrows Circle #801, Graceville, MN.
A welcome was given by Paul Smith, president of the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce. Membership awards were presented by Beverly Voigt, State Vice Regent. The guest speaker was Bill Peltier of Litchfield.
State Regent Mary Kunstleben opened the business meeting on Saturday morning followed by spiritual time.
An auction was held with the proceeds going to the State Project "Education of the Hearing Impaired".
