Winsted, MN - For something a little different, Holy Trinity held their 18th annual benefit auction on April 26, in the high school gym.

The theme for this year’s auction was "There’s no place like home" and decorations included reminders of The Wizard of Oz. It was a tremendous success with the schools receiving a profit of $35,000. The number of guests attending was double from the previous year when the auction was held at the Wayzata Country Club.

It was an exceptional 2003 committee, with Fr. Paul Wolf, pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Winsted, as chairperson. They worked through all of the obstacles involved in holding the fundraiser in the school and tackled many new projects to make the evening a successful one.

In addition to the Spring Fling Committee, there were many volunteers that helped with set up and clean up.
