Catholic Family Bible Camp in August

The annual Catholic Family Bible Camp will be held August 1-3 at Lake Koronis Assembly Grounds, Paynesville, MN. The camp will open at 7:00 p.m. Friday night with a potluck supper and music by Darcy Ready.

On Saturday there will be classes for grade school age children, youth ministry for the teens, and childcare for babies. Kate Soucheray will speak to the adults.

Kate is married and a mother of three. A local and nationally seasoned speaker, she will share in her animated way the joy of bringing holiness into every day and bringing our faith life into the ordinariness of our lives. Kate is a graduate of the College of St. Catherine in elementary education and has earned a Masters Degree in Theology in New Testament Scripture from the University of St. Thomas. Kate writes a newsletter for women called "Household of Holiness" which is fashioned after Lumen Gentium article 11 of Vatican II. She will be speaking at three sessions on Saturday. Mass will be celebrated on Sunday followed by a potluck lunch which will be the closing of the camp.
