David Mangan was one of the participants on the retreat in February of 1967 where events took place that is often marked as the beginning of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. This retreat at Dusquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA began a life for David Mangan of being active in Christian education, preaching, teaching, and family life seminars.
David is a graduate of Dusquesne University with a masters degree in education and is certified by the Ministry Formation Program of the Diocese of Lansing, MI. He has served in Catholic and Christian education for more than 30 years as a teacher and administrator. He is currently at Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor where he teaches Math and theology.
This will be the twenty-first year for Catholic Family Bible Camp in the New Ulm diocese. It will be held August 2-4 at Lake Koronis Assembly Grounds Paynesville, MN. Registration begins Friday 5-7 pm. Camp begins with a potluck supper and closes with Mass & potluck lunch on Sunday. Accommodations include on site camping and/or dorm rooms with meals. Cost for campers per family unit $42, Dorm and meals: Adult: $58; 11-18 yrs $55; 4-10 yrs: $50; 3 and under, free.
