O’Connor’s 60th Jubilee

Rev. Michael F. O’Connor, a retired priest of the Diocese of New Ulm will observe his 60th Anniversary to the Priesthood on January 25, 2004 with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m. followed by an open house reception with lunch at St. Joseph Church and new gathering hall in Miesville, MN where Father has resided since his retirement.

Father O’Connor was ordained January 29, 1944 at the St. Paul Cathedral by Archbishop John Gregory Murray. During his active ministry he served at St. Columbus, St. Paul; St. Michael, Milroy; St. Peter & Paul, Glencoe; Holy Redeemer, Renville; and St. Mary, Bechyn.

He retired from the active ministry on July 17, 1991.
