all but three of twenty-three complete
In accordance with the New
Ulm Diocesan Plan for Parishes 2003-2008, Bishop John C. Nienstedt has approved
another Area Faith Community plan. Only 3 of the 23 Area Faith Communities in
the diocese have yet to complete their plans. The new plan is:

Concerns Committee
- Respond to the needs of the
Hispanic community
- Reach out to the unchurched, fallen away, homebound, terminally
ill, and elderly
Stewardship
- Establish an Area PastoralCouncil
- Explore the funding of
collaborative ministers
and ministries
- Combine purchasing power
- Share parish information
- Review staffing positions, buildings and equipment in all parishes
