Official appointment

The Most Reverend John C. Nienstedt has announced the following official appointment for the Diocese of New Ulm:

Effective January 30, 2006

Rev. Gerald S. Meidl, the Episcopal Vicar for Regions 3 and 4; appointed temporary parochial administrator of the Church of Ss. Peter and Paul in Ivanhoe and the Church of St. John Cantius in Wilno, while remaining pastor of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in Marshall.
