Mission of Love

The San Lucas Mission Extension Office is once again sponsoring a Valentine Project, “the Mission of Love” with proceeds going to the Diocese of New Ulm Mission in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala. Here’s how it works: The project runs to the end of March. You make a valentine and send it to the San Lucas Mission Extension Office, PO Box 326, Lamberton, MN 56152, along with a $2 (or more if you wish) donation. This in turn is sent to the Mission where staff and volunteers distribute valentines to the children and purchase corn, rice, beans, and school supplies and distributes them to the children, widows, and handicapped. The response has been wonderful in the past!
