Lenten mission offered at Our Lady parish in Spicer

Our Lady of the Lakes parish in Spicer, MN will be hosting a Lenten Mission March 18-22 at 7:00 p.m. each evening. The mission is entitled, "Be Still and Listen". Evening session topics are baptism; marriage and family life; forgiveness, and the Body of Christ.

The presenter will be Fr. Richard (Dick) McGuire, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Osakis, MN as well as Chaplain at Douglas County Jail in Alexandria, MN and Director of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Rest Center.

Fr. McGuire was a U.S.Air Force Chaplain for 20 of his 38 years as a priest. Before becoming a parish priest in Osakis he founded New Beginnings, a home for unwed mothers and The Drop in Center for youth struggling with chemical addiction. Both of these facilities are located in St. Cloud, MN.
