The New Ulm Diocesan Council of Catholic Women Scholarship Program provides opportunities to empower and educate CCW members in spirituality, leadership and service.

Scholarship amounts of $200 are available to individuals providing leadership in the Council of Catholic Women activities, teaching in parish Catholic schools, or religious education programs. It is available to individuals ministering within their parish in music, administration, youth ministry and in a wide range of social concerns activities. Scholarships are available to women, men and youth throughout the diocese to empower and enrich their faith.

The CCW Scholarship Program is financially supported solely by parishes in the diocese. This past year 175 scholarships were granted for a total of $21,742. Due to limited funds, scholarships are awarded only to individuals of parishes that voluntarily contribute with a monetary donation to the NUDCCW Scholarship Program.

Scholarship applications for 2005 may be obtained through your parish CCW organization or by contacting a parish CCW scholarship coordinator.

All applications are to be mailed to the diocesan scholarship coordinator, Linda Roehrl at 701 East Walnut Street, Redwood Falls, MN 56283. New 2005 scholarship applications postmarked after March 15, 2005 will not be eligible for a scholarship award.
