DCCW scholarships offer a variety of opportunities

The New Ulm Diocesan Council of Catholic Woman Scholarship Program provides opportunities to empower and educate Council of Catholic Women members in spirituality, leadership and service.

Scholarships of up to $200 are available to individuals providing leadership in Council of Catholic Women activities, teaching in parish Catholic schools or religious education programs, to those ministering within their parish in music, administration, youth and youth ministry, and in a wide range of social concerns activities. This scholarship is open to women, men and youth of the parish.

The financial support for the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women scholarships continues to come through donations from fundraisers in individual parishes throughout the diocese.

These donations are to be turned in by March 15, 2003.

Applications for the 2003 Scholarships can be obtained from your local Council of Catholic Women Scholarship Coordinator, Council of Catholic Women President, or Linda Roehrl at (507) 637-3991.

All applications should be mailed to Linda Roehrl, 701 East Walnut St., Redwood Falls, MN 56283 and be postmarked by March 15, 2003. Applications postmarked after March 15 will not be accepted.
