Debate/election serves as a great learning tool for students

The 5th/6th grade class at St. Michael's School, Morgan, MN held a Presidential Election for their class and the staff. On the day of the election they started the day with a debate. Subjects debated included: taxes, education, the environment, gun control, health care, abortion, the economy, Iraq, terrorism. At 11:55, the polls opened. The voters were asked to register and then to vote.
