Benefit concert for San Lucas mission to be held at St. Peter’s church

Frank Lorentz will perform a benefit concert on Sunday, December 2, at 2:00 p.m. at St Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, MN. There will be no charge for admission, however a free will offering will be taken to benefit an orphanage in Guatemala where Lorentz’s cousin, Monsignor Greg Schaffer is the director. The United Nations recently recognized Monsignor Schaffer for his relief efforts in humanitarianism.

The concert will feature a variety of music, holiday favorites, contemporary Christian music, and country selections. Mr. Lorentz is currently in production of two new CD’s and hopes to have them available by concert time. He has a degree in choral conducting and graduate degrees in teaching and public school administration and currently serves as superintendent of the USC District in Wells, MN.
