50th anniversary choir being formed

The Diocese of New Ulm will be observing many celebrations in observance of the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the diocese beginning this upcoming November. The diocesan Office of Worship is currently attempting to establish a diocesan choir for the three main celebrations which will be held throughout the year of observance.

The year will begin with a Mass for Deceased on November 7, 2007 in Hutchinson, MN. There will be a Diocesan Festival held June 29 (2008) in the Willmar area and the observance will conclude with the 50th Anniversary closing celebration on November 16, (2008) in Marshall,MN.

The diocesan Office of Worship is looking for talented and devoted individuals willing to commit to these three celebrations as well as a monthly rehearsal beginning in June of 2007.
