The 49th Annual Diocesan
Council of Catholic Women Convention will be held on
Keynote, Dr. Ray Guarendi, will address the topic, "You’re a Better
Teacher Than You Think!"
Dr. Guarendi
is a father, clinical psychologist, and author. He has worked with school
districts, Head Start programs, mental health centers, substance abuse
programs, in-patient psychiatric centers, juvenile courts, and private

During the convention, the
Diocesan CCW will take a collection for personal items and monetary donations
for women's shelters. Additionally, the Holy Mass collection will be given to
the seminarian aid fund to be used for special needs, the recipient of the
Council of Catholic Woman of the Year Award will be announced, and after an
appetizing sit-down lunch, the afternoon will feature an opportunity for Q
& A
regarding church-related topics with Msgr. Eugene Lozinski, Diocesan Council of Catholic Women moderator.
