Official Appointments for the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm

New Ulm , MN The Most Reverend John C. Nienstedt, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm, MN, has announced the following Official Appointments:

 

Effective July 1, 2003

Reverend John G. Berger to serve as Pastor of St. Gregory the Great, Lafayette and St. George, West Newton.

Reverend Anthony R. Hesse to serve as Pastor of St. Peter, Canby and St. Leo, St. Leo.

 

Reverend Ronald V. Huberty to serve as Pastor of St. Andrew, Fairfax; Sacred Heart, Franklin; St. Willibrord, Gibbon; and St. Francis de Sales, Winthrop.

 

Reverend Jerome E. Paulson to serve as Pastor of St. Michael, Gaylord, while remaining Pastor of St. Mary, Arlington .

 

Fr. Samuel Perez to serve as Parochial Vicar for the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, New Ulm with continuing responsibilities for the Spanish speaking Catholic Community at St. Mary, Sleepy Eye.

 

Reverend Paul A. Schumacher to serve as Parochial Administrator of St. Catherine, Redwood Falls and Sacramental Minister of St. John, Morton.

Reverend Paul H. van de Crommert to serve as Parochial Administrator of Holy Redeemer, Renville in addition to remaining Pastor of St. Aloysius, Olivia.

 

Reverend Steven J. Verhelst to serve as Pastor of St. Malachy, Clontarf and Parochial Administrator of Sacred Heart, Murdock and St. Bridget, DeGraff, while remaining Pastor of St. Francis, Benson and Visitation, Danvers .

 

Mr. Donald A. Clasemann to serve as Pastoral Administrator of St. John, Hector.

 

Sister Monica Wagner, SSND to serve as Pastoral Administrator of St. John, Searles for a one year extension.

 

Already in effect as of April 17, 2003

Reverend Eugene M. Brown to serve as Sacramental Minister of St. Michael, Milroy while continuing responsibilities as Senior Associate at Holy Redeemer, Marshall.

 

Deacon Richard A. Cronican to serve as Pastoral Administrator of St. Michael, Milroy.
