Bishop of New Ulm Catholic diocese announces official appointments

New Ulm, MN - The following official appointments have been announced by the Most Reverend John C. Nienstedt, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm, MN.

Effective October 20, 2006

Reverend Monsignor John A. Richter appointed pastor of St. John the Baptist, Searles in addition to serving as Rector of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, New Ulm.

Effective October 21, 2006

Reverend Patrick L. Casey appointed pastor of the Church of St. Gertrude, Forest City in addition to serving as pastor of the Church of St. John in Darwin.

Effective October 26, 2006

Reverend Monsignor Robert J. Wyffels appointed parochial administrator of St. Joseph, Clements in addition to serving as pastor of St. Michael, Morgan, and co-sacramental minister of St. Joseph, Lamberton.
