Diocesan Senior High Youth Rally October
29 in Fairfax
Fairfax, MN - The Catholic Diocese of New Ulm will be sponsoring the
annual fall Senior High Youth Rally (grades 9-12) to be held Sunday, October
29, 2006, at GFW Middle School, 300 SE 1st Street, Fairfax, MN, from 1:00-7:00 p.m. The rally’s theme is Light My Way.
This
year’s rally will offer music, comedy, workshops, presenters, and break
out sessions. The Most Reverend John C. Nienstedt, Bishop of New Ulm, will celebrate Mass with participants. Snacks
and lunch will be provided. Registration opens at 12:00 noon.
The
day’s presenters will include: Catholic Answer’s Christina King; APeX Ministries’ Brad Farmer and Gene Monterastelli;
and Tammy Ann Winn and her band.
Presenter
Christina King is a chastity/abstinence
speaker from Wrightstown, WI, and founder of “Pure Freedom”. Her message will center
on the virtue of chastity using actual experiences and consequences.
Her original life-changing message has helped thousands of teens take
control of their lives - physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
King will also lead a break-out session for adults entitled “Guiding

Presenters Gene Monterastelli and Brad Farmer from APeX
Ministries return to the diocese by popular demand. Their presentation
includes juggling acts, humor, storytelling and personal testimony.
