Annual Children’s Holy Field Trip

to be held Wednesday at Cathedral of Holy Trinity in New Ulm;

Bishop to preside

New Ulm, MN - Catholic school children from throughout the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm will gather on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. for the sixth annual Children’s Holy Field Trip.

Sponsored by the diocesan Office of Catholic Schools, the event will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. The Most Reverend John M. LeVoir, bishop of New Ulm, will preside during the prayer service which will include praying the rosary.

“It is anticipated approximately 165 students will be participating from the various Catholic schools within the diocese and approximately 30 home school students,” commented Karla Cross, Director of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of New Ulm.
