A day workshop will be conducted on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Church of St. Mary, Bird Island, MN (220 South 10th Street) from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. And an evening presentation will be held at the Church of St. Mary, Willmar, MN (713 12th Street SW) from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. “We live in an intercultural world where we daily cross the cultural boundaries that are used to separate persons from each other,” commented Sr. Anna Marie Reha, SSND, Director of the New Ulm Diocesan Office of Hispanic Ministry. “Most of the time that means bumping into each other’s cultures without understanding which at times leads to misunderstanding. Learning about and appreciating each other’s cultures creates hospitality and unity.” For further information about this event or to register for the workshop, contact the New Ulm Diocesan Office of Hispanic Ministry, (507) 359-2966.
