Craig Timmerman ordained to the priesthood
for the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm
New
Ulm, MN – Reverend Craig Timmerman was ordained to the priesthood
on Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, New
Ulm, by the Most Reverend John C. Nienstedt, bishop of the Catholic
Diocese of New Ulm.
Following his ordination to the priesthood, Father Timmerman celebrated
a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, July 3, in his home parish of the
Church of Saint Clotilde, Green Valley . He will now return to the North
American College in Rome where he has attended since the fall of 2000.
There he will complete his license in Sacred Theology in Marriage and
Family.
Father Timmerman, age 27, is the son of Gary and Patricia Timmerman
of Marshall. He attended Lake View High School in Cottonwood and graduated
in 1996 and attended St. John Vianney College Seminary and the University
of St. Thomas , graduating in May of 2000.
