New Ulm Catholic Diocese Official Appointments

New Ulm, MN - Bishop Bishop John C. Nienstedt has announced the following Official Appointments in the Diocese of New Ulm.

Pastors:

Effective July 1, 2004

Rev. John A. Richter - Parochial Administrator of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Searles, while continuing his responsibilities as Rector of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.

Rev. Brian L. Mandel - Sacramental Minister of the Church of St. Michael in Milroy, while continuing as pastor of the Church of St. Mary in Tracy and the Church of St. Paul in Walnut Grove, Minnesota.

Rev. Dennis C. Labat - Co-Sacramental Minister of the Church of St. Joseph in Lamberton, with Father Robert Wyffels, while continuing to remain pastor of the Church of St. Raphael in Springfield, Sacramental Minister of the Church of St. Thomas in Sanborn, and Supervisor of Pastoral Administrators. His main responsibility at the Church of St. Joseph in Lamberton will be to cover some weekday Masses as well as being on call for funerals and other emergencies.

Rev. Robert J. Wyffels - Co-Sacramental Minister of the Church of St. Joseph in Lamberton, with Father Dennis Labat, while continuing to remain pastor of the Church of St. Michael in Morgan and Sacramental Minister of the Church of St. Joseph in Clements. His main responsibility at the Church of St. Joseph in Lamberton will be to cover the weekend liturgies.
