News Release #403Released to media on June 5, 2006Bishop of New Ulm announces official appointments
Effective July 1, 2006 Rev. Gerald S. Meidl, the Episcopal Vicar for Regions 3 and 4; appointed temporary parochial administrator of the Church of St. Paul, Comfrey while remaining pastor of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Marshall. He will also be pastor (effective June 18, 2006 ) of the Church of St. Clotilde, Green Valley .
Rev. Andrew J. Michels appointed pastor for the Church of St. Peter & Paul, Ivanhoe and the Church of St. John Cantius, Wilno, while remaining diocesan Boy Scout Chaplain.
Rev. Jeremy G. Kucera appointed pastor to the Church of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Taunton; and the Church of St. Edward, Minneota; and sacramental minister to the Church of St. Eloi, Ghent .
Rev. Michael M. Doyle appointed sacramental minister of the Church of St. John, Morton while continuing to serve as pastor of the Church of St. Catherine, Redwood Falls .
Rev. Samuel Perez Tax appointed parochial vicar of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Marshall.
Rev. Keith R. Salisbury appointed parochial vicar of the Church of St. Anastasia, Hutchinson and the Church of St. Boniface, Stewart.
Rev. Mark S. Steffl appointed parochial vicar of the Church of St. Mary, New Ulm and teach religion at Cathedral High School, New Ulm.
Rev. Craig A. Timmerman appointed parochial vicar of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, New Ulm and to assist at the Church of St. John, Searles and Hispanic Ministry in Sleepy Eye.
Rev. Steven J. Verhelst appointed pastor of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Murdock and the Church of St. Bridget, DeGraff, while continuing as pastor in Benson, Clontarf and Danvers.
