2010 Junior High Festival April 25 in Montevideo

Montevideo, MN – On Sunday, April 25, the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm will sponsor the annual Junior High Festival. This year’s youth event will be held at the Montevideo High School, 1501 William Avenue, Montevideo, MN, from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The day’s keynote will be renowned stage and film actor, Leonardo Defilippis. His talk will be entitled, Acting Like a Saint. Defilippis is best known for his direction and starring role in the feature film Thérése.

Throughout the day there will be breakout sessions which will include a “Acting & Lectoring” workshop with Leonardo Defilippis; “Witness Talk” led by Justin Coates; and “A New Saint for Youth: Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati” led by Christine Wohar.

Bishop of New Ulm, Most Reverend John M. LeVoir, will celebrate Sunday Mass with festival participants. Lunch and snacks will be served.
